Something Blue, "Happy Wedding" edition, ProGear Slim

Our original ink "June Bride Something Blue" was launched back on May 28, 2010.

This beautiful blue-green is based off of the French color, “Bleu Orient”, and has had a steady following through these 15 years.

The European tradition of giving “something blue” to a “June bride” is a wonderful symbolism of wishing someone happiness.

This fountain pen is an embodiment of this color and message.

The finial has a four-leaf clover of happiness, and the nib has a laser engraving of a ladybug, also a symbol of good fortune.

Add to that the message on the cap ring, “I wish you a lot of happiness”, and this pen is sure to do just that.

This special "Happy Wedding" edition features the exact message hand-painted in maki-e on the cap by Mr. Hino, our Wajima maki-e artist.
